“We weren't going to go out and do market research.

We just wanted to build the best thing we could build.”

— Steven P. Jobs (1955-2011)

Throughout the year, I am available for private consulting in the areas of image processing and computer vision, especially when it pertains to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) or surveillance (particular interests of mine).  I would be more than happy to discuss your needs, so please send me an email through the Contact Me link in the About section.

If you prefer (or if your business so requires), I am willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to our discussion or after the details have been worked out.

In addition to consulting, I am constantly looking for contacts in various industries that need help analyzing video data, primarily for integrating these needs into my Image Processing and Computer Vision courses.  Students desperately need real-world examples that make the material taught in class relevant to the industry setting.  If you would like to have my students work on a project, please don't hesitate to contact me right away—I have many talented students, who are constantly looking for research ideas.

As this research would be for academic purposes, it would be preferable if the video footage was not classified and did not require a security clearance, although all of my students are open to signing NDAs if a project requires it.
